Introduction to Milla de Oro
Since 2014 the Milla de Oro area of the Central Savanna area has become a prime location for many businesses to take interest and many development opportunities to flourish. Being situated just north of Bogota between Chia and Cajica, the area has become famous for weekend getaways as those in the city are trying to escape downtown for a few days of relaxation before the next week of work. Many startups, doctors, and lawyers have seen the growth and development in the area and have made the conscious decision to also make the move with their businesses to the development zone. With that in mind many other supporting businesses for the ecosystem have followed, like shopping, dining, and family activities.
It is the goal of ‘Milla de Oro’ to enhance the knowledge of those coming to the area and give them as much information as possible so that they can make the most efficient plans possible when they plan to visit. Be it spotlighting successful managers and their current negotiations, taking an in depth look at the real estate environment from corner to corner, or highlighting a student for activities in the community where they showed support; ‘Milla de Oro’ wants showcase all the area has to offer and how the community comes together to make it truly a wonderful place to live, work and play.
‘Milla de Oro’ is a bi-monthly digital magazine. Each page can contain video, scrolling text, or photo galleries along with the headlines and captions. The pages are designed to be optimal on a handheld device when using WiFi or 4G and not to have clutter or small print as can be seen with normal magazine layout pages on smartphones. Every element of the pages can be analyzed for user interaction giving concrete statistics on ad performance and the distribution of shares and likes on a daily basis. These numbers are then transformed into relevant spreadsheets for clients to determine their CPM or cost per thousand.
Every month fliers are handed out throughout the Central Savanna with QR codes directing the audience directly to this months magazine. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat marketing also enables the audience to follow stories as they are developed throughout the two months till the magazines are published and after to receive follow up details.
