There is a question on the lips of people that responded to my questions in the course of writing this article. The question is where can we comfortably call home? My candid questions for you reading this article in this festive season is, where is home for you and what are the characteristics of home? Why is home different from house and why is home not a house? I hope you can take some quality time to ask yourself these questions.
Still talking about home, in the quest to unravel the mystery behind what people call home has led me to the shops dedicated to the sales of home décor. Diana Paola Montes, home décor seller in Fontibon, Bogota said that home was where you had the comfort and peace of mind complemented by interior decoration which can always make you feel more comfortable at home than just house.
Another school of thought also said that home means everything including the things that are inside. So why is it that people cannot just sit on a naked floor? Although some people do sit on a bear floor at home but deep down within, they may like to have something comfortable and relaxing to eventually transfer their tiredness to. In other words, people would like to rest on something that makes them feel relaxed.
That being said, there is no place like home. The interior decorations and the other domestic appliances in the house have transformed our feelings into deeply cherished feelings. But believe it or not, you may still need some interior décor in your home to further have the metaphysical feelings of home.
In a nut shell, home is where your heart is but you may still need to push that feeling to the edge by buying some simple home decors that suit your taste and pockets or finances. Nonetheless, it can be mentioned that the concept of home only exists in the mind. Even if you do not have money to buy something to give your home a facelift, remember that home is what you make of it and home, sweet home.
