I have been struggling connecting the Miracle Mile of Bluffview, Preston Hollow and the Park Cities of Dallas to the Golden Mile of the Sabana in Colombia. I feel I am going to lose my company in Colombia soon because I can’t keep up with the Chamber of Commerce in Bogotá any longer. Paying taxes this year on Milla de Oro Magazine SAS will be just like last year, but I can’t be present.
The connection I have made so far to the Miracle Mile is what I have found with Karim Alaoui who says this area between Inwood and Douglas on Lovers is his neighborhood where he can walk to and from work. He says hello to everyone, and many people seem to be a familiar face. This was much the same as Cajicá where my magazine got its start. Not changing my name from the Golden Mile magazine and that it is in Spanish is something people are going to have to continue to find the novelty in. It shows history, me growing up in Dallas before venturing around the world for fifteen years. Having a poor income from the US is good in another country, people from around the world do aspire. I’m simply trying to show tried and true is just that, which has been difficult to sell to the growing youth cultures in other parts of the world.
The Golden Mile magazine is a DBA here in Dallas and I am also DBA AC Grindl, so I can be donated to; even if that is how you choose to purchase advertising through this magazine. Being able to receive some money even while looking to claim social security disability, I think I won’t find closure to my marriage until I return to the Sabana and throw our wedding rings into El Dorado. Along with my wife, much like we had for our wedding with some words spoken that might be the end of things and I can let my dog, Levi go.
